Bella Come Non Sei Mai (Paolo Meneguzzi) - Paolo Meneguzzi is my favourite male singer and he means a lot to me. This song isn't one of my most favourites, but it reminds me to the time I started to listening to him, when I was around 14.
Bailando (Alaska y los Pegamoides) - Alaska is a Mexican singer who has been living in Spain for almost all her life. She is a myth in popular culture because, back at the Eighties, she was the frontwoman of bands which made music as it had never been listened before here: she was one of the leading characters of a cultural 80's movement in Madrid called 'la movida' ('the movement'), just after Franco (dictator from 1939 to 1975) died and democracy started in Spain. She isn't the best singer or the best player out there, but her songs were anthems for lots of people and Spanish music wouldn't be the same without her bands. I admire her so much not only because she made catchy songs that talked about strange topics (Egyptian deities, for instance! *g*), but because she's a very smart and intelligent woman who isn't afraid of seeming weird or geek and, as one of her songs says, she doesn't give a damn about what people says about her. This song is one of the most famous she has and reminds me of my childhood, when I started listening to her thanks to my parents. I also saw her live last year and it was amazing, she's really one of my idols <3
Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) - I'm not the biggest Queen fan but I love them a lot. Today I've been listening to this song a lot and I consider it one of the most amazing pieces of music ever created <3
