I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!
I don't know what got into me to take up this crazy challenge; I blame![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
matturemuser for firstly planting in my head the seeds of it, and mainly elewenfm for definitely pushing me into this madness with her example. To be honest, I had considered the idea before, but I guess it wasn't realistic to do it until now, when I have enough free time (or that's what I like to think) to write.
So, what's my novel about? No idea yet, because I'm a pantser: this is, I'm starting from scratch with a barely there idea. So far I can only tell you that the cover of In The Flesh DVD and Drones (the album, not the song) by Muse are very vaguely guilty of the first stone of plot; apart from that, no idea. I met my first leading character and a bunch of antagonists today, and I can tell you that she (my heroine) so far looks interesting. Let's see how she evolves.
My wordcount today has been 3236 words: not bad for someone who isn't used at all to write original stuff! I'm very happy of myself and I hope I can follow this good rythmn; my plan so far is writing up to 3000 words on weekends and 2000 on workdays. Crossing my fingers that I'll be able to stick to it.
