Well, I don't quite understand what you mean. Vocative is one of the 6th cases Latin has so most words have a vocative form (although, of course, in many aren't used because for instance you can't "call" a bottle xD). But often is exactly the same as the nominative, so it isn't a difficult one xD
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell. Maybe? Quite? I don't know! I think what makes Latin harder is the lack of opportunities to actually *talk*, so that's why I firmly defend all those modern methods who go beyond translation and memorisation of grammar rules and seek to make it "alive". That's how I learnt, and I think it does wonders!
