Finally, finally exams have ended! I'm so happy right now because these two weeks have been stressing as hell. My life has been waking up, studying, breafast, more studying, going to bed; it has been so stressful even if, for the first time in so long, I've been keeping good schedules and I have been able to study all the subjects with time for revising before the exam.
I already have the marks for 3 subjects and so far so good: my mean (or is average? I have never known) is of 8, now I just need to know the other two marks left, and I hope they don't low it very much. Given that the 'lowest' marks so far have been of difficult exams (aka "WEEEEEEELL... yes..." exams) I'm very hopeful about the two left, because one exam was difficult but I managed more or less (my speech probably was of a 8 y.o. because we barely had time to explain anything so I had to write every random idea that popped into my mind in the order they appeared) and the other one has been today and... INCAS! \o/ I love them and I had read all its notes 5 minutes before entering the exam, so... success! The other question I chose was the American population and, given that I don't like Prehistory very much and I always have problems to remember cronologies (especially if we're talking about 30 ka) didn't went that bad! (even if I forgot tons of names of sites in South America and the US, but well, I think I did it fairly well). Also I have to mention that I have fallen in love with Prehispanic America: it's so different of everything I know that I'm mesmerised with it. Who knows, maybe I have another work field open if Egypt or Rome don't work well? I just need to learn how to spell Huitzlopocatl (and I spelt it wrong, I'm sure) or studying just the Andes that the names are less complicated :')
Even if I say I'm free, that's not totally true because I still have to do my Doctor Who presentation for English next Thursday (rambling about my favourite show in front of 30 people? Cool! If it wasn't because my pronuntiation it's horrible :D) and, most important, a Greek assignment that I have to give next Friday and I didn't start. But still, it's better than studying, isn't it?
Next week we start the new term and subjects get even more technical (and we have... MATHS *funeral music in the background*) but... I'M GOING TO HAVE ARCHAEOLOGY OF EGYPT!!!! AT FUCKING LEAST!!!! \o/ I'm so going to get a good mark in this, as my name is Irene! o/
Also, there is a chance that in April I'll be going to Rome again :D This time to meet Finley (yes, meet! They do a fan meeting with a concert!!!!!!!!!!!) and, of course, reuniting with some of my Italian friends. Problem is that I'm not sure if I'll get a return flight, because Madrid airport has increased the taxes and most lowcost companies don't fly anymore to tons of places... being Rome one of them. So I basically have just 2 flights possibilites, and in one there is only 1 seat left and the other one is so late and I don't know how I'll stay awake to catch it (because I'm not going to sleep anywhere, just hang out with my friends after the concert, until they leave for their city). And why I don't catch the first flight? Well, there's a possibility that one friend will come with me, but she still has to decide, therefore I'm here waiting to know her decission and until that I can't do anything! If she doesn't come with me, I think there are huge chances I won't go and this saddens me beyond thought because, as you can imagine, Finley are my life and it'd mean the world to me meeting them... so I'm crossing my fingers here.
Anyway, I should continue writing the Doctor Who presentation. Should I talk about the Doctor's boyfriend or just saying that he's his best enemy? ;)
AND TONIGHT THEY PASS THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK AND I'M GOING TO CRY BECAUSE HAN *sobs*
Btw, I want to do the writer's meme, as I saw it in lots of journals when I was away. So I'll give it a try now that I'm back, ask away if you want :)
