It's that time of the year again!

Fics I've written (posted and private):
And, even if it isn't a fic, given that it has been my biggest achievement this year I have to mention the play I had to write for uni: Los Hefestiónidas (The Hefestionids). If you're interested and you speak Spanish, tell me so I can give you a link to read/watch it!

Total Number of Completed Stories: 9

Overall Thoughts: This is surprising, as I thought I had written less! However, both Eternità and Union are little drabbles written only for trying out my English writing again, so I really don't like them much. This has been a very interesting year fic-wise, especially since my decision of not posting English fics anymore; I feel my writing process has improved since that, and I'm very proud of Genesis, my first proper English fic since it.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? Less than expected, because I wanted to write much more, and I have several WIPs on my folder. One day, who knows...

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January? Well, Clara/Twelve I guess. I haven't been into shipping the Doctor with a companion since my Ten/Rose phase, so it was shocking when I realised how much I wanted them together! Only for sexings though, they really aren't a good couple, I rather Clara/Danny.

My favorite story this year (of my own): I'm a bit in a crossroads here. On one hand, I love Latin Lover with all my heart, but I feel I ruined that story, so it's either Genesis or Dementia (because I came back to my roots there!).

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them? I did, with Silence mostly. I wrote something totally out of my depth that made me suffer a lot, and I liked the challenge. I learnt I shouldn't have rushed it though.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year? Not anymore, as I'm not focused on writing fanfic that much. However, I'd like to write femslash for the first time (Clara/anyone, really), explore the relationship between Twelve/Missy fully and maybe try some new fandom, like Selfie (if I'm not happy with the finale) or Merlin (in fact I have already started a fic, some sort of Christmas present for a friend I guess).

My best story this year: I truly don't know. Latin Lover got great reviews and some people were sad when I left because they wanted more, Genesis is a very 100% Irene story... I'm very happy with all the description going on Latin Lover, but maybe Genesis is better? I don't know... You tell me, readers!

My most popular story of this year: Show Me How It's Done, probably because people were desperate to see Clara having any kind of sexual relationship with Twelve (I can't blame them). Tu Non Mi Basti Mai has been quite popular too, it got many comments, if I remember well.

Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Dementia, because so far I have only one review and I really liked how it turned out :/

Most fun story to write: Latin Lover, because obvious reasons.

Most sexy story: Tu Non Mi Basti Mai, right?

Story with the single sexiest moment: Show Me How It's Done, when Clara is fapping. I don't like at all how I wrote that bit (in fact I nearly hate it), but in my mind it was one of the most unf things I had ever seen.

Most fun story: I don't think anything I wrote this year was especially humouristic, to be honest.

Story with the single funniest moment: See above.

Story with single sweetest moment: the ending of La Realtà Di Ogni Mio Momento.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Dementia, because for the first time I felt I was really writing Twelve, and not something akin to him but not quite (I blame Ten, I was writing him for too long and that had their effects on my approach to other Doctors).

Hardest story to write: Silence, for the reasons mentioned quite above.

Biggest disappointment: Latin Lover, because it became something I had been dreading and it hurts so much to think about it; it was going to be my baby, my treasure, and I fucked it up. I also don't like what I did in Show Me How It's Done.

Biggest surprise: Writing Silence, as I delved into unknown territory of things I wouldn't even read because they make me suffer.

Most unintentionally *telling* story: Latin Lover, anyone? Seriously, what the hell was I thinking?

"Holy crap, that's *wrong*, even for you" story: Nothing, I think. I mean, I know what happens at the end of Silence is SO wrong, but given that we have Simm!Master there, I wouldn't put it pass him. And this is Doctor/Master, they're fucked up anyway.

Easiest story to write: Dementia, because I'm good at introspection.

Easiest character to write: Dominic in Latin Lover, because I gave his personality a lot of thought and background during the months prior to writing the story.

Hardest character to write: Clara, because I should have analysed her more thoroughly. And she has lady bits and I discovered I am not used *at all* to write about them so it was everything a bit "WTF I have a vagina I should know how to use it why this sucks!!!!!". And that's the reason why the ending of Show Me How It's Done sucked so much.

Favorite character to write: The Doctor always wins. I love this character to tiny bits and if you add his boy/girlfriend... Pure bliss! Timecock forever <3

This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: I don't think there has been a theme at all, to be honest. In fact, I feel this year is totally divided between Pre-Leaving and Post-Leaving. I feel more comfortable writing fics now, so I guess the theme has been self discovery, even if that doesn't translate into my fics!

And, even if it's quite late for this, Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have had a wonderful time and may the new year be awesome for you!

I am very interested in your play; but sadly I can't understand Spanish :/, eventhough I had it in university ... and the English fics you wrote this year, I'll get to those ... eventually :). Keep up the good work :)

Aaww, that's a pity! :/ I would provide you a link to watch it but, being a shadows theatre, I don't think you'll understand more than you would reading. Well, somewhere in my "university" tag there must be a recent entry in which I wrote a summary of it, so you can always read that :)

No rush, they will be there! And I have only written 3 public Muse fics anyway.

And thanks!

*SQUISH* I'll be glad to help you with any future writing if you need me. Especially when it comes to Clara's lady bits :qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq

*SQUISHES* Thank you so much, I wonder what I would be without you ;) Omg, I really should get writing that Clara/Jenny we mentioned the other day. Some century I'll plot that (aka search a reasonable excuse for them to meet and unfings happen :D).
