I finally have some place where I can post these kind of things, yay! I took this meme from [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse, thanks <3

List of 2013 fics:

1. Words We'll Never Say (Doctor Who, Tenth Doctor/Simm!Master) [Spanish]
2. L'Inferno è Dentro Di Te, Ma Sembra Il Cielo (Doctor Who, Tenth Doctor/Simm!Master -more or less) [Spanish]
3. Undisclosed Desires (Doctor Who, Tenth Doctor/Simm!Master) [Spanish]
4. Under The Rain (Broadchurch, Alec Hardy/Ellie Miller)
5. Sognami Che Io Farò Lo Stesso (Doctor Who, Tenth Doctor/Simm!Master -more or less) [Spanish]
6. Cambiando Las Reglas [Spanish]/Changing The Rules (Muse, Matt Bellamy/Dom Howard)
7. The Woman Who Counted Three Years (Sherlock BBC, Sherlock Holmes, Molly Hooper -gen)
8. Touch My Soul With Your Fingertips (Doctor Who, Tenth Doctor/Simm!Master) [Spanish]

16. Primera Noche (Doctor Who, Amy Pond/Rory Williams) [Spanish, published in a fanbook whose link doesn't work anymore]
17. Chasing His Starlight (Doctor Who, Eleventh Doctor -gen) [Spanish, published in a fanbook whose link doesn't work anymore]
18. Invincibile (Muse, Matt Bellamy/Dom Howard)
19. Hot Water (Muse, Matt Bellamy/Dom Howard)
20. Prompt Fever (Muse, Matt Bellamy/Dom Howard) [collab, on-going series]

Overall Thoughts: HOLY FUCK 20 FICS AND 8 OF THEM IN ENGLISH WTF. I HAVE WRITTEN 28296 WORDS IN BOTH LANGUAGES AND I'M NOT COUNTING FICS I HAVEN'T FINISHED YET OR POSTED OR CHAPTERS OF COLLABS. WHAT THE FUCK.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?: A lot more than predicted. I'm a slow writer and that is why I generally write drabbles, so stuff like Flashing Lights or Words We'll Never Say it's huge for me. And, of course, there is the whole Muse thing: I hadn't written this much in such a short time!

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?: Clearly Belldom. I never thought I'd write RPS with so much confidence or that fast. AND IN ENGLISH.

My favorite story this year (of my own): This is a difficult one. I'm between Touch My Soul With Your Fingertips and Invincibile. Both represent a type of style I generally don't write and I like them very much.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them? I think my huge risk has been Belldom. I had written RPF before but not slash, so this whole Muse Slash thing has been so new for me. But having so many ideas to write have taught me how to organise myself and now I plan my fics more than I used to.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?: Keep writing, do a crazy crossover, write more stuff with Eleven and get back to Sherlock.

My best story this year: Writing wise? Maybe Invincibile or Touch My Soul With Your Fingertips.

My most popular story of this year: According to AO3, it's Under The Rain (which isn't surprising, given how little fic of Alec/Ellie is out there, because most of the Broadchurch stuff is a crossover with Doctor Who, which annoys me). But my most commented fic is Changing The Rules.

Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Hmmm... I expected more hits in The Woman Who Counted Three Years: it was my first time writing Molly but I think I portrayed her well, so... yeah.

Most fun story to write: Prompt Fever! I have so much fun writing it or plotting with Luv, and it's the first time I try to do something funny, so I'm very proud of it.

Most sexy story: The readers should decide that! But maybe... Flashing Lights? Even if they don't fuck, I think it's pretty sexy the general feeling.

Story with the single sexiest moment: Hot Water and the braces scene. I wish I could have written that better because I really think it's fucking hot. Also L'Inferno E' Dentro Di Te, Ma Sembra Il Cielo it's sexy, but not as much.

Most fun story: Again, Prompt Fever, especially as chapters keep going!

Story with the single funniest moment: So far, I think it's the final scene of Flashing Lights, when Matt and Dom discover they have been caught making out; Tom's reaction when Dom says "at least they didn't caugh wanking each other" is hilarious!

Story with single sweetest moment: Aawww so many! I think it's a tie between the whole Changing The Rules and Reglas Accidentales (which is the sequel and yes, don't yell at me, I'll translate it, some day, I swear). Dom kissing Matt's nape in Invincibile is also a very tender and sweet moment.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: This is really difficult. Maybe Remembrance because I tried to put all my headcanon about River's perception of Eleven past, but not really sure.

Hardest story to write: Hot Water, that is why the smut sucks.

Biggest Disappointment: I'm not happy with my writing in Primera Noche. I had to write that and Chasing His Starlight for a blog, for the 50th Anniversary and I didn't have time nor inspiration, that is why it sucks. I'm also dissapointed with the lack of feedback in The Woman Who Counted Three Years because it was my first Sherlock fic in one year and I really need to know if it worked.

Biggest Surprise: Changing The Rules, of course. I haven't had that amount of feedback in all my life! And given that it was a) my first Belldom fic and b) it was written in such a short time, I didn't expect it to be that success. I'm also surprised with the amount of hits and kudos in Under The Rain.

Most unintentionally *telling* story: Changing The Rules, maybe, but just because I had a hangover as well! xD

"Holy crap, that's *wrong*, even for you" story: You know, I don't really write many "wrong" things. But probably L'Inferno E' Dentro Di Te, Ma Sembra Il Cielo and Sognami Che Io Farò Lo Stesso, because, well... the Master is around 15/16 there and he goes back to when the Doctor becomes human and seduces and corrupt him so... there you are.

Easiest story to write: Undisclosed Desires, I wrote it in half an hour! And I like it very much.

Easiest character to write: Molly Hooper, because I think we have similar ways of seeing the life. Also Ten, because I'm so used to write him by now!

Hardest character to write: Sherlock Holmes, even if his intervention in The Woman Who Counted Three Years is short, he's very difficult to write and that is one of the reasons I don't write Johnlock or Sherlock as often as I did last year. And I'm still very insecure about writing Muse.

Favorite character to write: Ten; he's so angsty but I love writing him! And I think B&L!Dom also, because he's a bastard (B&L is my collab with [livejournal.com profile] zetastation, not posted yet but next year you'll read it! :3)

This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: Hmmm I don't know. The theme, as always, has been love, in the twisted and sick form of Doctor/Master or the most normal and lovely way of Belldom, Alec/Hardy or Amy/Rory. So, for sick love would be Touch My Soul With Your Fingertips or Last Time I'll Abandon you, because they both show very well how their relationship works for me; and for the "normal" love I'd say Invincibile, because you can see there that trust and confidence you can have in a partner (and it's fluffly as hell).

And yes, I know I'm on a hiatus but I wanted to do this! I wanted to make an entry with some updates in life but I'm not sure if I'll have the time, so I'll just say a few things:
1) I'm stressed but trying not to think much about it.
2) I have a cold.
3) In 2014 I'll meet a friend I haven't seen since 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!
4) I'll spend New Year with friends I haven't seen in two years and we'll have a lot of fun.
5) I watched the Muse dvd yesterday and gfdsijfdsagolgngdkdndlñhoisngf
6) You should read The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night Time. Great book, really.
7) I watched The Desolation of Smaug and I didn't like it as much as I did with the first movie.
8) MATT SMITH IS LEAVING IN CHRISTMAS AND IT WILL BE THE FIRST REGENERATION I WILL LIVE AND OMG.
9) I'm inmensely grateful for a few things that had happened in 2013:
-The 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who and the whole whovian vibe we had had.
-Going to London.
-Getting to know [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse: you are an incredible friend and I love you so much! THANKS.
-Starting to listen to Muse, writing Belldom and knowing so many amazing people in Muse Slash. I can't name all of you, but you should know who you are! Thanks you!
-Conrad Veidt.
10) MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

From all that I read here I just wanted to ask...

HOW DID YOU NOT LIKE THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

About the rest... awwwwwww Irene! I love you so much and wow! This fic meme is so cool! Would you mind if I borrow it? *-*

I didn't say I didn't like it! I liked it, but less than the first movie: I think they have made it longer than necessary, and I don't like when they put things invented like the whole Tauriel/Legolas/Kili affair. And there were so many orcs (is that the name in English?). And a lot of scenes are longer than needed (like the chase in the river). But Smaug and Bilbo scenes are awesome, and both Martin and Benedict had done an spectacular job.

Aw Pam, I love you so much as well!! <3

Oh but since the first part they already had put invented things so I just shrugged it off because it was obvious they would not follow the book since they were going to split it in three movies. And I actually love the chase in the river scene, it's one of my favourites one!

(yes, they're called orcs in any language ;D)

I know, but I have the feeling they invented more parts in this one. And the whole romance thing was a bit... come on! Especially when Tauriel was taking care of Kili's leg. I'm not happy they split it in three movies because I think two would have been enough. Will it be the third just the battle in the lake against the dragon and the orcs? The river chase was spectacular, I agree, and I can even say it's one of the best chasing scenes I've ever seen. But I don't like Bilbo didn't have as many moments of glory as in the first movie: he's such a great character and they focused too much in other things. However, I'm so happy they showed that well how greedy and idiots the dwarfs (especially Thorin) can be: it was showed in the book but here they have acentuated it, so I expect the resolution of that to be incredible in the third movie.

Yeah, actually the romance thing was unnecessary imo too. I'm not happy they're splitting it in three movies, but they already did so I'm just enjoying it as I've never read the book lol but this is me

And unlike you one of the things I've liked the most was exactly this splitted attention, they didn't focus on Bilbo too much this movie and I like when they give the secondary characters some attention too. This second movie was like that, showing another side of the characters. But, again, this is just me lol

I wish I could do that! But I'm very picky with these things...

If only they had focused in characters I like... But I don't know, there were so many scenes that left me "WTF", like the light/darkness battle in the Necromancer's castle. The whole photography there was a bit silly for me, with those endless close-ups of Sauron...

you really want to discuss cinematic with me? *giggles, cracks knuckles and neck*

I think those "endless" close-ups of Sauron was the main trick of that particular scene and it worked at least to me. It makes your head spin

I suppose it did the trick for the 3D viewers, but for the 2D viewers it was just a bit silly. And anyway, the whole battle was too long for my tastes, I prefer these things short.

And I still don't understand why the dwarfs thought Smaug could be beaten with lots of gold... I mean, he's a dragon, he likes fire lol But they did well in make longer the whole Smaug bit and that chase, because in the book everything was so short.

Oh you've watched it in 2D? Aww D: Yeah, maybe that's why you found it silly.

Yeah that scene where they cover Smaug with gold didn't make sense... he loves gold and all. maybe they had thought the spell would turn against the wizard (idk the saying in English LOL). fail lol

Yeah, sadly I'm not rich enough to allow the 3D :(

I don't know, I already thought it was silly when they used the water on him but okay... but the gold? The whole scene was superbe, but come on, it didn't make sense at all.

And so many orcs...

oh... weird... here 3D and 2D prices don't have so much difference... omg what do you have against many orcs?! xD

Here there are usually 3 euros of difference. However, I think in the cinema where we went to there wasn't that much difference but the 3D time was so late for us.

I don't like orcs! They are ugly u.u and in the book there aren't as many!

oh it sounds like euros are too expensive :s here the difference is of 4 reais lol and we went to watch the last screening (21h) bc it was with the original audio <3

I love orcs *hides*

Yeah, everything is expensive and the cinema is crazy expensive, that is why I barely go to it.

We went to the only cinema in Madrid who had it subbed! It was crazy!

They are... well, I don't hate them, but there were so many! I got bored of them!

:33333 I'm so glad to have met you, I really am. It's great to have such an ultimately optimistic and positive and energetic person as a friend when I'm such a grumpy, lethargic old nerd. And I love that we bond over history and Connie and intellectual pursuits--it's just so amazing that the Internet has made this possible since we live on the opposite ends of Europe! And the age difference doesn't even matter much. So it is really a privilege to have found a Watson like you :3 You've made my year *so* wonderful! *HUGS*

I don't even know how to reply to this! It's such a pleasure being around someone that understands all my opinion and who I can talk about every topic, knowing that they will understand and not make fun on it, not matter how stupid or personal it could be. I never knew I was optimistic/positive/energetic until I met you, but knowing your perception of me have helped me to feel more sure about who I am. The privilege is mine to have found you, Holmes! I hope we have ahead of us so many wonderful years like this! *HUGS*

YOU ARE MAKING ME CRY NOW. And I have to leave for my folks in a bit for Christmas stuff. But what you said is wonderful--I do want to make you feel like that with me. What with that one thing you told me about last night re: sex and were afraid of sounding stupid or that I'd think it was silly--I was just thinking about it today and baffled and kind of sorry that you'd ever have to fear that! But I totally won't judge, and I think that talking to you has actually kind of been inspiring because that whole idea of sexual growth is what really got me to finally write Because the World Belongs to the Devil (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1062373). I don't think I would've ended up writing it if I hadn't talked to you about these things. It was just a dirty plot bunny I thought I'd probably never get off the ground. But you inspired me to write about a girl discovering her sexuality! And now it's my most-read fic! So you have definitely helped bring something pleasurable into the world :D

And I do hope we shall continue to have many wonderful years together as well. And that we'll be able to hug each other in real life sooner rather than later :3 *EPIC SQUISHES*

I hope so! I already picture the scene: you, me, London, booze and Conrad Veidt. So many happy times ahead of us! *g*
